Connecting Families Through the Pediatric Cancer Journey

Mission
The Bennett Project stands with St. Louis families facing pediatric cancer, offering direct financial assistance and social support. We recognize that only those who have walked this journey can truly understand its unique challenges. That’s why we prioritize connecting and uniting our families. We support our families at every stage of the pediatric journey, from newly diagnosed and in treatment to post-treatment and bereaved families.
The Bennett Project is proud to be 100% volunteer run, serving over 300 families a year in the St. Louis metro area.
Founded in memory of Bennett Reinier who passed from colon cancer and an inoperable brain tumor at the age of 10 in 2003.
Who We Serve
The Bennett Project proudly supports families affected by pediatric cancer in the St. Louis area. Our programs are available to any family with a child diagnosed with pediatric cancer who has received treatment at our three pediatric oncology hospitals. We understand that pediatric cancer impacts the entire family, which is why our programs are designed for both our young warriors and their super siblings. We are here for families at every stage of their journey - whether newly diagnosed, in treatment, navigating long-term survivorship, or bereaved.
